Do you bookmark/favourite websites that you stumble upon? Great websites that contain wonderful teaching materials. Worried about losing these websites when you changed laptops?
Technically when you bookmark/favourite the websites you loved, you are saving them on the harddisk of your computer. Thus, when you reformat/ change your computer, you lose these findings.
A simple way to resolve this problem is to save them on a social bookmarking website.
I will introduce one social bookmarking website that I personally use.
http://www.delicious.com/ is really very appetizing. If you have a yahoo account, you do not even need to apply an account with them. You can simple login with your yahoo account.
What it does is that it allows you to save your favourite websites in the cyberspace and also let you see what other popular websites people are saving. The tagging helps you to find other similar websites of the same category. For instance, if you click on 'education' tag, you can find many websites that other people have saved under the tag.
Oh well, you just got to visit the website to really savour it!
